From Participation to Peace: Youth Leadership in Conflict Prevention and Political Transformation in Africa

Recorded on the sidelines of the 10th edition of APSACO, this podcast explores the role of African youth in conflict prevention and political transformation. It highlights the gap between young people’s demographic weight and their limited influence in formal decision-making. The discussion also examines their contribution to early warning, peacebuilding, and civic mobilization, as well as the opportunities and risks created by digital platforms. It ultimately calls for more meaningful youth inclusion in political and peace processes.
