Aware of the importance that the United Nations grants to the Women, Peace and Security agenda as an action priority in the maintenance of international peace and security, Morocco has been ceaselessly working towards achieving the objectives of Security Council resolution 1325 (2000), in line with its commitment, from the earliest hours of its independence to multilateralism and the centrality of the United Nations. In line with this commitment, and in accordance with its international obligations, Morocco has decided to adopt a National Action Plan for the implementation of resolution 1325 (2000) following a participatory and inclusive approach, involving all the Ministerial Departments and National Institutions concerned.
