The confluence of Covid 19 and the ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine has resulted in a troublesome surge of inflation not seen for decades. Developing nations, particularly in Africa, are bearing the brunt of this complex economic situation, resulting in a slow recovery, rising unemployment and poverty rates, tight international conditions and soaring public debt. Which credible, constructive way out of this complex situation is available to governments and international organizations as the World Bank or IMF?
