Oumnia Boutaleb is an International Relations Specialist at the Policy Center for the New South. Her research focuses on West Africa with a focus on selected countries in the region.
She joined the Policy Center for the New South in March 2019, after earning a Master's degree in International Affairs from the Institute of Political Studies in Aix-en-Provence and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from the School of Governance and Economics in Rabat. Prior to joining the Policy Center for the New South, Oumnia interned at the National Council for Human Rights and the German International Cooperation Agency (GIZ) before beginning a short stint in strategic consulting at Grant Thornton. She is currently preparing a Master's degree in Geopolitics and Geo-economics of Emerging Africa at HEC Paris.
