L'affrontement des puissances en Méditerranée orientale

La Méditerranée orientale a figuré en bonne place de l’actualité de ces derniers mois. Vieil espace de civilisation, objet de disputes et d’ambitions contradictoires entre puissances régionales ou internationales depuis des siècles, la Méditerranée orientale est le théâtre de rivalités intensifiées par la découverte, cette dernière décennie, d’importantes réserves de gaz naturel. Plus récemment, ce sont les menées turques qui ont beaucoup fait parler d’elles. Or celles-ci semblent largement inspirées par une doctrine qui demeure peu connue, celle dite de la Patrie Bleue (Mavi Vatan) à laquelle l’IFRI et le PCNS consacrent une note à paraître en ce mois d’avril 2021. Pour en parler, Akram Zaoui reçoit pour ce podcast Dorothée Schmid, fondatrice et responsable du programme Turquie de l’Institut Français des Relations Internationales (IFRI).
