In this podcast, we discuss how artificial intelligence and digital development contribute to more accurate predictions and scenario building during foresight studies. In fact, foresight studies, also known as futures studies or futurology, are interdisciplinary fields of research that aim to systematically explore and anticipate potential future scenarios and developments. The primary objective is not to predict the future with certainty but to develop informed and plausible narratives about potential future trajectories. Foresight studies and AI have a synergistic relationship, as AI technologies contribute significantly to enhancing the effectiveness and efficiency of foresight practices.
