Jean-Pierre Chauffour est économiste principal pour le Maroc et coordonnateur des échanges régionaux pour la Région Moyen-Orient et Afrique du Nord (MENA) de la Banque mondiale. Depuis qu’il a rejoint la Banque mondiale en 2007, M. Chauffour a occupé différents postes, notamment celui de conseiller au sein du Département du commerce international et d’économiste principal au sein du Réseau pour la lutte contre la pauvreté et la gestion économique, dans lequel il s’est spécialisé dans les questions relatives au régionalisme, à la compétitivité et à l’intégration économique.
