L’échange aborde les vulnérabilités européennes face aux tensions avec la Russie, à la menace iranienne et au sous-investissement militaire des dernières décennies. Abdelhak Bassou souligne que l’Europe a longtemps privilégié le confort économique au détriment de sa sécurité stratégique. Il insiste enfin sur la nécessité d’une perception commune des menaces pour construire une véritable Europe de la défense.
