September 9 the supreme court upheld the victory of William Ruto making him the 5th president of the republic of Kenya. His victory leads him to govern the country in a specific context marked by raising social and economic challenges ranging from increased commodity prices and growing concerns over the purchasing power of Kenyan citizens.
