Terrorist Recruitment Dynamics : Strategies for Counteraction

In this interview with Dr. Aynabat Atayeva, Chief, International Hub on Behavioral Insights to Counter Terrorism, UNOCT, Qatar. We explore the dynamics of terrorist recruitment as we examine how terrorist organizations exploit a sense of belonging to lure vulnerable individuals. Moreover, we explore strategies that societies and communities can adopt to protect fragile individuals from extremist ideologies. Through this interview we also uncover proactive measures to reduce susceptibility to terrorist recruitment tactics, as we also analyze the primary stakeholders crucial for effectively combating terrorism across various fronts.
