Les Etats-Unis traversent une crise sanitaire et économique qui remettent en cause les enjeux du scrutin présidentiel du 3 novembre 2020. Au cœur de la tempête, Donald Trump, qui en refusant de prendre des mesures drastiques pour juguler la propagation du COVID-19, semblait ne pas avoir mesurer l’ampleur de la pandémie sur l’économie du pays et la population américaine. Dans la même veine, le candidat démocrate Joe Biden est plus que jamais dans l’obligation de rassembler les deux familles libérales et gauchistes du parti afin de fédérer d’office, le camp démocrate autour de sa candidature.
