Pierre Jacquet has been since 2012 President of the Global Development Network (GDN), a public international organization headquartered in New Delhi (India) which builds research capacity in developing countries in order to promote development policies informed by evidence and analysis. He is the former Chief Economist (2002-2012) and Executive Director of Strategy (2002-2010) of the French Development Agency (AFD) and a former Deputy Director of the French Institute on International Relations (IFRI),an independent French think tank which he had joined in 1981.
