حديث الثلاثاء: افاق الاقتصاد الإقليمي في الشرق الأوسط وشمال إفريقيا

على ضوء الاجتماعات السنوية لمجموعة البنك الدولي وصندوق النقد الدولي

في التقرير الأخير لصندوق النقد الدولي حول آفاق الاقتصاد العالمي، والذي يطبعه القلق الزائد في ظل اضطرابات القطاع المالي والتضخم المتزايد والآثار المستمرة للاجتياح الروسي لأوكرانيا، بالإضافة إلى العواقب الاقتصادية المترتبة عن الأزمة الصحية التي امتدت لثلاث سنوات، يتم التشديد على أن النمو في الاقتصادات المتقدمة يتباطأ بشكل حاد، بينما تحافظ الدول النامية على نمو أقوى. وفي نفس الوقت، تعاني اقتصادات منطقة الشرق الأوسط وشمال إفريقيا من مجموعة من الصدمات المتزامنة، مثل تباطؤ الاقتصاد العالمي وارتفاع أسعار الطاقة والغذاء وتقلبها، مما أسفر عن أضرار كبيرة للاقتصادات الناشئة والمتوسطة والدول المنخفضة الدخل في المنطقة، حيث يواجه العديد منها قيودا على الوصول إلى أسواق التمويل، في حين تتمتع الدول المصدرة للنفط بمؤشرات مالية وقائية جيدة بفضل استمرار ارتفاع أسعار الطاقة. فكيف يمكن تصوّر قراءة أولية لفهم الديناميات الاقتصادية الحالية وما هي مؤشراتها وتأثيرها على التنمية على المستوى الإقليمي؟ مع العلم أن هذه المنطقة، بالرغم من تشابه نقاط ضعفها الاقتصادية وتحدياتها الهيكلية، تختلف في مواردها وسياقاتها السياسية ومدى استقرارها بين دول الشرق الأوسط، ودول الخليج، والدول المغاربية، وغيرها؟

Imane Lahrich is the Head of Research Valorization Department, having previously served as a Partnerships & Research Support Officer at the Policy Center for the New South since 2019. She mainly worked on security-development related projects. She has experience as a Project Manager in a Strategic Intelligence firm (2017-2019) and as a research consultant in the MENA region, focusing on international development and the Rule of Law.
