Abdessalam Saad Jaldi, Senior International Relations Specialist at Policy Center for the New South, will be speaking at the panel on Maritime Traffic in Atlantic Africa titled : West and Central Africa : Opportunities in increased Maritime Traffic. Panelists will discuss to what extent can the Atlantic be a good alternative instead of the Suez for example, also highlighting in that process current challenges in maritime traffic, innovations etc.

This event is organized by the International Maritime Organisation (IMO) in collaboration with the Government of Cabo Verde, the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR) and the Atlantic Centre, taking place in Praia, Cabo Verde on October 9th, 2024, within the framework of an international conference on Maritime Security.
