Karim El Aynaoui, President of the Policy Center for the New South, will intervene in T20 panel that will take place in November 1st on “Sustainable Resources: Energy Focus – Security, Market Stability and Managing Environmental Vulnerabilities”.

The T20 Summit, held under the theme, "Striving for a future of prosperity, sustainability, and inclusion", is supported by five core themes, among which is Energy, the focus of Sunday's Panel. During this discussion, the experts will debate around 5 key questions : How do we promote energy market stability in a transitioning world? What role does legacy, scale, technology play in energy transition strategies? What infrastructure and security policy are in place for energy in the region, and globally? What are the new integrative approaches needed to tackle the water-food-energy nexus in the region, and globally? What are the barriers in expanding energy access and affordability?  If we look beyond the MENA & GCC region, how do we address the challenge of energy poverty?
