Strengthening China-African Ties to Fight Covid-19: Policy and Actions
Our President, Dr. Karim El Aynaoui, will be giving opening remarks during the SIIS Africa Forum 2020, held online on Thursday, October 29th at 09:00 (Moroccan time). The webinar, organized by the Shanghai Institutes for International Studies (SIIS), the Policy Center for the New South and the Africa Policy Institute, will discuss the Chinese-African relations in the times of the Covid-19, under the theme “Strengthening China-African Ties to Fight Covid-19: Policy and Actions”. This online event aims to build a bridge for African and Chinese experts to share information, learn successful experiences and contribute wisdom on closer China-African cooperation in fighting Covid-19 and simulating economic and social activities.
Our Senior Fellow, Mr. Mohammed Loulichki, will be chairing the Panel One “COVID-19 in Africa: Impacts and National Response”. This panel will focus on Covid-19 in African and national response. Panelists will share their ideas on the situation of Covid-19 in Africa, including its economic and social impacts, as well as the progress and challenge of national response.Keep me informed
