Sofia Achetouane is the Manager of Events at the Policy Center for the New South (PCNS).
At the PCNS, she oversees the planning, coordination, and execution of events, ensuring the operational success of the Center’s major conferences, seminars, and roundtables.
Before joining the PCNS, Sofia Achetouane built extensive experience in event management and the hospitality industry. From 2011 to 2019, she founded and managed her own Travel and MICE agency, operating as a Destination Management Company with tour operators across various countries, and collaborated with national institutions to organize large-scale national and international events. She also held the position of Sales Manager in a renowned hospitality establishment in Rabat, where she managed and supervised numerous events.
Sofia Achetouane holds a Bachelor’s degree in finance and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Project Management from Al Akhawayn University in Ifrane, School of Business Administration.
She is fluent in Arabic, French, and English.
