Monsef TAIBA
Manager – Audiovisual Production

Monsef TAIBA is the Studio and Audiovisual Technical Support Manager at the Policy Center for the New South (PCNS) in Rabat.

At PCNS, he oversees the technical operations of the MediaLab, coordinating and managing audiovisual production for major events such as the Atlantic Dialogues, AD Talks, APSACO, and numerous PCNS conferences, webinars, and hybrid sessions. His role spans the design, installation, and configuration of advanced AV systems, the deployment of multilingual and multiplatform streaming solutions, and the supervision of broadcast infrastructure across studios, control rooms, and podcast spaces.

Before joining PCNS in 2019, Monsef spent nearly a decade at Radio Plus Group as Technical Manager, where he led numerous national and international broadcast installation projects. His accomplishments include developing studio infrastructures for TV and conference environments, broadcasting and web radio systems, and VoIP-based solutions.

He began his career at Frequence Technology (Rabat) after earning a diploma in Microcomputer Systems and Enterprise Telecommunications, where he contributed to broadcast installation and synchronization systems for the SNRT and 2M networks, including the launch of several radio and TV channels.

Monsef holds a strong background in Digital Broadcasting and Audiovisual Systems, with extensive expertise in sound and video engineering, network integration, and technical project coordination. His skill set includes streaming and transmission technologies, studio cabling and interconnection, and team leadership in AV and telecom environments.

He is fluent in Arabic, English, and French, and is passionate about innovation, technical excellence, and the continuous evolution of audiovisual production technologies.
