Meryem Aassid is a Junior Program Officer (Social Media & Digital Content) at the Policy Center for the New South (PCNS), where she manages digital communication and outreach, shaping the editorial strategy of the Center’s social media and producing content to disseminate research, publications, and events.
Since joining in February 2024, she has contributed to the Center's online presence through content planning, video production, and community engagement, including supporting flagship programs such as Mardi PCNS.
Previously, Meryem worked at the National Commission for the Protection of Personal Data (CNDP), in the communication department and within the President’s cabinet.
She holds a bachelor's degree in communication from the Higher Institute of Information and Communication (ISIC) and a master’s degree in Translation, Journalism, and Communication from the King Fahd School of Translation.
She is fluent in Arabic, French, English, and Tamazight.
