HAJJAJI IMAD
Program Officer - Knowledge Management

Imad Hajjaji is an AI Engineer serving as a Program Officer (Knowledge Management) at the Policy Center for the New South (PCNS).

At the PCNS, Imad Hajjaji develops AI-driven platforms and solutions in Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), strategic intelligence, and translation.

Before joining the PCNS in 2024, Imad Hajjaji worked as a Data Scientist in the telecommunications sector and at Digital for Research, a Lab at University Mohammed VI Polytechnic (UM6P), where he designed data-driven solutions to address diverse analytical and operational challenges.

He holds an engineering degree in Operations Research and Data Science from Morocco’s National Institute of Statistics and Applied Economics (INSEA).

Imad Hajjaji is also currently a PhD candidate at Morocco’s National Institute of Posts and Telecommunications (INPT) where his research focuses on the application of data science to Smart Cities. More broadly, his research interests include forecasting, prediction, and the integration of Internet of Things (IoT) devices in smart grids.

He is fluent in Arabic, English, and French.
