Internship - Social Media & Digital Content

The Social Media & Digital Content intern will support the team in enhancing the center’s digital communication strategies, increasing online engagement, and promoting the center's activities across social media platforms. Under the supervision of the social media & Digital Content Program Officers.

MISSIONS:
Content Creation and Management :
•Assist in planning, creating, and scheduling posts for social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn).
•Help develop visual and written content tailored to the audience and platform.
•Monitor trends in social media to produce relevant and innovative content.

Community Management :
•Respond to comments and messages under supervision, ensuring consistent interaction with followers.
•Monitor online discussions and identify opportunities to enhance audience engagement.

Analytics and Reporting :
•Track and analyze social media metrics using tools like Google Analytics and native platform analytics.
•Provide weekly or monthly reports to assess performance and suggest improvements.

General Support:
•Collaborate with other departments for multimedia content production (videos, graphics, etc.).
•Help ensure consistency in the brand’s digital identity across all platforms.

PROFIL:

Core and Technical Skills:
•Enrolled in a graduate program in Communication, Marketing, Digital Media, or related fields.
•Excellent knowledge of major social media platforms and their best practices.
•Basic skills in graphic design or video editing software (e.g., Canva, Adobe Suite, etc.).
•Strong writing and editing skills in both English and French.
•Familiarity with analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Sprout).
