Internship - Research in International Relations
The international relations research department's main missions are to coordinate and lead the center's IR research. A significant part of its activity focuses on the scientific production of publications in international relations and on the activities and events that regularly involve this department. The research activity is structured around the research programs. These programs are public and available on the PCNS website.
The objective of the internship is to experiment and apply the knowledge acquired during higher education. It also aims to raise awareness of the think tank culture and lay down the fundamentals of research work in international relations.
Missions:
These objectives are spread over the following stages:
Initiation to working methods within PCNS and its organizational culture, reporting, summary and alert notes, participation in the center's cross-functional activities,
Setting preliminary objectives in the form of short-term deliverables
Under the supervision of a specialist in international relations, part of the internship activity will be dedicated to the organization of a research project
Profil:
Hard skills:
Enrolled in a graduate program in International Relations/ Global Affairs or Political Sciences, good knowledge of common languages and digital tools
Complementary skills on specific subjects such as (energy transition, Artificial Intelligence, digital transformation, cyber, climate change, migrations, natural resources) would be appreciated
Soft skills:
Adaptation, autonomy, responsiveness, teamwork
