The Policy Center for the New South (PCNS) is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented intern to support its Partnerships Team. The intern will contribute to the preparation of materials supporting strategic outreach, partner engagement, and institutional activities. This internship offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in institutional partnerships within a dynamic and internationally oriented think tank.

Main Responsibilities

Under the supervision of the Partnerships Team, the intern’s main responsibilities will include:
1. Preparation of partnership and event materials
•Assist in the preparation of briefing packets, event packs, concept notes, and presentations.
•Contribute to the drafting, formatting, and consolidation of documents used for partner outreach, meetings, and institutional engagement.
•Help ensure that partnership materials are clear, well-structured, and tailored to their intended audience.

2. Support to partnership development and coordination
•Contribute to the organization and monitoring of meetings, events, and engagement activities involving partners.
•    Support the follow-up of partnership-related exchanges and internal coordination processes.
•Draft and consolidate meeting notes and internal summaries to support follow-up and coordination.

Candidate Profile
Technical and professional skills
•Currently enrolled in a Master’s degree program (Bac+4/Bac+5) in international relations, political science, economics, management, public policy, communication, or a related field.
•Excellent command of English and French, both written and spoken.
•Strong writing, organizational, and analytical skills.
•Good command of PowerPoint and the ability to prepare clear and professional briefing materials.
•Strong interest in institutional relations, partner engagement, and strategic coordination.

•Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
•Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
•Strong sense of initiative and problem-solving ability.
•Proactive, reliable, and able to work both independently and collaboratively.

•Flexibility, adaptability, and team spirit.
