Stella Chelangat Mutai is currently working as a Geospatial consultant for World food Programme where she is tasked with monitoring the implementation of standards related to mapping and supporting country regions by developing procedures and workflows to improve the management of geospatial assets. Prior to this, Stella also worked with International Fund for Agriculture Development as a Consultant – Geographic Information System. She has a master of science in Geo-information Science and Earth Observation, University of Twente, Netherlands. She recently was recognized as among the Top 50 rising stars in geospatial 2023 by Geospatial world Council. Stella is passionate about enhancing use of space, science and policy to enhance food security and support the achievement of sustainable development goals in Africa.
