Macarena Ayelen Acuipil is currently an advocate for gender equality. She is a Program Coordinator for the Women's Democracy Network in Argentina, where young female candidates are empowered to step in and take decisive roles in the political arena. She is also working as Chief of Advisors to the Senator of her hometown province of Chubut and as a professor in Gender Studies at the Siglo XXI University. Her experience in the Public Sector also includes roles in the Buenos Aires Legislature, the Ministry of Industry and the National Youth Institute throughout these years. Macarena holds a degree in Political Science and International Affairs from UADE (Argentina) and a MSc in Social Policies from the University of York (UK).
