Gabriela Keseberg Dávalos

Gabriela Keseberg Dávalos is Head of Communications of Southern Voice, a network of 51 think tanks from Africa, Asia and Latin America researching on sustainable development. She is in charge of designing the media strategy for each research project in order to maximize its dissemination. Most recently, her team developed the COVID-19 Digital Knowledge Hub in the Global South”. It compiles over 700 articles/publications on the impact of the pandemic in the Global South and gives access to a database of 500 scholars researching on the matter. 

Prior she was Senior Foreign Policy Advisor to the Vice-President of the European Parliament (EP) for Human Rights and Democracy and Senior Communications Officer at the International Crisis Group. Her articles and podcasts on international conflicts and human rights issues have been published in outlets like Die Zeit, El País (Spain) and the Washington Post. Gabriela is a multi-media journalist and has an MA in political sciences from the Ludwig-Maximilians-University Munich and Copenhagen University. Currently living in Bolivia, in her free time she runs a citizen campaign advocating for zero emissions public transport.
