Abrão Neto is a foreign trade analyst with the Brazilian government; he currently serves as an advisor to the secretary of foreign trade. 

Prior to this, he worked as a coordinator in the Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade at the Federation of Industries of the State of São Paulo, and as an international trade lawyer at Felsberg and Associates. He holds a Ph.D. in international law from the University of São Paulo and a master’s degree in international economic law from the Catholic University of São Paulo. He was a visiting researcher at the Georgetown University Law Center in 2012, and a participant in the 2008 program for lawyers at the Permanent Mission of Brazil to the WTO.
