Veronika Ertl is Director of the Regional Programme Energy Security and Climate Change Middle East and North Africa of the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung, based in Rabat. Prior to taking over this role in October 2022, she worked as Policy Advisor for Development Policy in the 2030 Agenda Department at the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung’s headquarter in Berlin and as a Research Associate in the KAS Regional Programme Political Dialogue South Mediterranean based in Tunis. Other experience includes her work in the GIZ Program “Cooperation with Arab Donors” in Amman and the Near and Middle East Association in Berlin. She studied political science and international public management at the Free University of Berlin, the University of California Los Angeles, and Sciences Po Paris.
