Steffen Krüger

Steffen Krüger is the Resident Representative of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation (KAS) in Morocco since January 2019. Between 2015 and 2018, he held the position of Coordinator in the Africa Department at the KAS Foundation's headquarters in Berlin, where he coordinated activities in Africa with German policymakers. Between 2012 and 2015 he was the KAS Resident Representative in Kinshasa, DRC, where he worked mainly on security reforms, civil society strengthening and human rights. He was also Director of Grants Programs with Fintrac in the United States between 2011 and 2012, Senior Program Officer of the World Learning Program in Washington, D.C. between 2006 and 2011, and Deputy Resident Representative for the sub-regional program "Political Training in West Africa" between 2002 and 2005. Mr. Krüger holds a degree in Political Science from the University of Marburg in Germany. He was born on April 5, 1978 in Lutherstadt Wittenberg.
