Mohammed Bijou holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Toulon, France, and is a Professor at the Faculty of Law, Economic, and Social Sciences in Rabat-Agdal. His research focuses on econometric methodologies applied to economic sciences, with particular attention to education economics, vocational training, labour markets, and development. His doctoral work addressed education quality, class size effects, and social diversity, using non-parametric and semi-parametric methods in an international comparative perspective. He is a member of several research laboratories and serves on editorial boards. In 2022, he received Morocco’s Best Thesis Award in Economics and Management.
