Michalis Mathioulakis

Michalis Mathioulakis is an Energy Strategy Analyst. He is the Academic Director of the Greek Energy Forum, a Research Associate at the Hellenic Foundation for European and Foreign Policy (ELIAMEP) and an external Advisor on Strategy to the President of the Greek Regulatory Authority for Energy Water & Waste (RAEWW). He has been the Research Director of the Hellenic Energy Regulation Institute in Greece, and a Research Associate at the "Thucydides" Chair in Strategic Studies in the Department of International and European Studies of the University of Macedonia in Thessaloniki, providing regular reports for the energy sector in MENA and Eastern Mediterranean to the Hellenic National Defense General Staff. He has also substantial working experience in the financial sector as a stock and derivatives broker and analyst, and as a lecturer of Finance and Risk Analysis in Executive MBA programs. For the past years, he has been providing consulting services regarding energy strategy, management, and energy regulation for institutions and organizations associated with the energy sector.
