Linah Shimi is a Research Economist at Bank Al-Maghrib, the Central Bank of Morocco, where she leads the Monetary Policy Research Unit. Her research focuses on the interactions between monetary policy and both the real and financial economy. Before joining Bank Al-Maghrib, she had over 10 years of experience in public policy in France, including positions at the General Directorate of the Treasury (Ministry of Economy and Finance) and the French Development Agency. She holds Master’s degrees in Analysis and Policy in Economics from the Paris School of Economics (ENS/ENSAE) and in Development Economics from Sorbonne University.
