Emiliano Alessandri is an analyst of Mediterranean ane MENA issues, with a focus on geopolitics, geoeconomics and security issues. He is a non resident scholar with the Middle East Institute of Washington and a Senior Fellow with the German Marshall Fund, where between 2010-2013 he developed the Mediterranean and Wider Atlantic programs. He is also a visiting professor with the College of Europe in Bruges. Since 2013, he has been the advisor on Mediterranean affairs for the Secretary General of the OSCE.
