Mr. Khamis is the Executive Vice President in charge of Business Development of Nareva.
Nareva is a developer, investor, co-owner and operator a portfolio of power generation and water infrastructure plants in Morocco. Nareva owns a portfolio of power assets with an aggregate capacity of 3 350 MW and an investment value in excess of USD 5 Billion.
Adil khamis has more than 12 years’ executive managerial experience in the development of large scale power and water infrastructure projects and has successfully contributed to the closing of large transactions, including:
• The first merchant Moroccan wind portfolio of 500 MW;
• The 300 MW Tarfaya wind IPP project (the largest wind farm in Africa) and
• The Safi 1400 MW IPP coal fired project
• The award of the 850 MW IPP Wind Integrated Project.
Adil Khamis has led the design and the implementation of Nareva renewable energy strategy and has been involved in the origination and structuring of Nareva’s investment projects, with many precedent setting projects that eventually served as a guiding platforms for the wider adoption and implementation of renewable energy projects.
Adil khamis is also board director of many project companies and has served as chairman of the board of Tarec; the SPV that holds the 300 MW wind asset.
Adil khamis holds a Masters in civil engineering from EMI, a Masters of Business Administration from TISOM and a Masters in Finance from London Business School.
