Student delegation from Zeppelin University – The Global South in a Changing International Order

The Policy Center for the New South will welcome a delegation of students from Zeppelin University, for an exchange exploring the evolving role of the Global South in international relations, with particular attention to questions of agency, strategic alignment and global governance.

The discussion will examine the changing dynamics of an increasingly fragmented international order, focusing on the growing influence of middle powers, the challenges facing multilateralism and the emergence of new forms of strategic alignment. It will explore how countries across the Global South navigate geopolitical competition, diversify their partnerships and seek to strengthen their agency within an evolving international system.

Particular attention will be given to Africa's evolving role in regional and global affairs, including efforts to advance regional integration, leverage strategic resources and develop international partnerships. The exchange will also consider the opportunities and challenges facing African countries as they seek to assert their interests and contribute to shaping a more inclusive and multipolar international order.

The session will provide an opportunity for dialogue between PCNS experts and Zeppelin University students on Morocco's foreign and regional policy, Africa's strategic priorities and the changing architecture of global governance, fostering mutual learning and the exchange of perspectives on the future of the Global South.
