From

The Policy Center for the New South will welcome a delegation of students from Xingjian College - Tsinghua University, for an introductory session exploring two key dimensions of Morocco’s development trajectory: its domestic socioeconomic priorities and its growing role in Africa.
The first intervention will address the main employment challenges facing young Moroccans, including the transition from education to the labour market, skills development and economic inclusion. It will also examine emerging opportunities in sectors undergoing transformation, as well as the policies and initiatives that could support more inclusive and sustainable job creation.
The second intervention will explore Morocco’s vision for strengthening the access of Sahel countries to the Atlantic Ocean and promoting greater regional connectivity, economic integration and South-South cooperation. It will highlight the strategic importance of maritime infrastructure, trade corridors and Atlantic partnerships for the continent’s development.
The session will provide students with a broader understanding of Morocco’s domestic development priorities and regional ambitions, while encouraging comparative discussion and dialogue between Chinese and Moroccan perspectives.
