Science advice for foreign policy

Sara Hasnaa Mokaddem, Head of Strategic Monitoring and Analysis at the Policy Center for the New South, is participating at a session entitled “Science advice for foreign policy” during the Euro-Mediterranean Conference on Science Diplomacy.

The Euro-Mediterranean region is a natural environment for science diplomacy as an established tool for cooperation between Southern Mediterranean countries and Europe; a vibrant area where philosophies, cultures and knowledge have been exchanging for millennia, creating the basis for common understanding and shared identities. Different research and innovation and scientific initiatives are active in the region, with many actors already spreading the positive values of science diplomacy in the Mediterranean.
