The Policy Center for the New South (PCNS) and the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung (KAS) Morocco are co-organizing the Scenario Stress-Test Workshop: “Foresight 2035 – Morocco and Europe in a Shifting World Order”, a 2.5-day workshop bringing together 25 young Moroccan professionals and students interested in policy, international affairs, and strategic foresight.
As a follow-up to the first phase of the initiative, which explored possible futures for Morocco–Europe relations toward 2035 and generated a set of scenarios and policy recommendations, this workshop will provide participants with an opportunity to assess, test, and refine these outcomes in light of evolving geopolitical, economic, social, and security dynamics.
Facilitated by CRISP (Crisis Simulation for Peace), the workshop will engage participants in role-based negotiations, simulation exercises, and collaborative decision-making to examine how strategic choices may shape the future of Morocco–Europe cooperation under conditions of uncertainty. By engaging with different stakeholder perspectives, they will reflect on the implications of emerging trends and potential disruptions for regional partnerships.
Combining strategic foresight with simulation-based learning, the workshop will encourage critical reflection on the opportunities and challenges shaping Morocco–Europe relations in an evolving international environment, while providing participants with practical exposure to complex policy questions and future-oriented strategic thinking.
