By invitation

Konrad Adenauer Stiftung (KAS) and the Policy Center for the New South (PCNS) are jointly organizing the 1st edition of the PCNS-KAS Cross-Policy Dialogue, scheduled for May 4th, 2026 at KAS Headquarters in Berlin - Germany.

This first edition, titled “Securing Mediterranean and Atlantic Arteries: Geopolitics, Connectivity and the New Security–Economy Nexus” will highlight how Euro-Mediterranean and Atlantic connectivity has become a central arena of geopolitical competition. Energy corridors – gas pipelines, green hydrogen projects, electricity interconnectors – sit at the intersection of economic interests and security dependencies. They are objects of investment, levers of geopolitical pressure, and the most tangible field in which North-South cooperation can take concrete shape.

This PCNS-KAS Cross-Policy Talk brings together the security and economy expertise of the Policy Center for the New South with the institutional reach of the Konrad Adenauer Stiftung. Participants are drawn deliberately from beyond the bilateral Moroccan-German context, representing African, European, North American, and Atlantic perspectives – practitioners from governments, think tanks, and the wider policy community.

Location: KAS Headquarters, Berlin - Germany
