MIKTA Members meet Morocco
From
Location: Policy Center for the New South
MIKTA is a cross-regional consultation platform of five countries from diverse cultures and regions: Mexico, Indonesia, Republic of Korea, Türkiye, and Australia. Established in 2013, MIKTA has been working together for a decade to bridge divides between developed and developing nations and build consensus on issues that are relevant to all regions, such as climate change, public health, democracy, global governance, counter-terrorism and security. This first MIKTA-Morocco discussion meeting is an opportunity for Moroccan youth to learn more about MIKTA and its work, and to discuss with MIKTA Ambassadors the challenges and opportunities facing today’s world. It will also provide an opportunity to gain a better understanding of the bilateral ties between the five MIKTA members and Morocco, and to explore possible fields of future cooperation. Finally, it will be an exceptional occasion for young Moroccans, future leaders, to share ideas and perspectives on how MIKTA can contribute to a more just and sustainable world.
