Meeting of the Strategy Group of the African Union Network of Think Tanks for Peace

The African Union Commission, through its Department of Political Affairs, Peace and Security (PAPS), will hold the Meeting of the Strategy Group of the African Union Network of Think Tanks for Peace (AU NeTT4Peace) from 11 to 13 November 2025 at the Policy Center for the New South in Rabat, Morocco.
The gathering will bring together leading African research institutions and think tanks, alongside the AU Commission, to reflect on how to better support peace and security efforts across the continent. It will be an opportunity to welcome new members, review progress since the last Strategy Group meeting, and explore ways for AU NeTT4Peace to contribute more effectively to the work of PAPS.
Over three days, participants will also exchange views on strengthening collaboration and communication within the Network, share feedback on ongoing knowledge products, and finalize the 2026 work plan and priorities. The meeting will conclude with discussions on revising the AU NeTT4Peace Charter and considering new membership requests.
