Abdessalam Saad Jaldi, Senior International Relations Specialist at the Policy Center for the New South, will speak on the panel addressing IUU fishing in the golf of guinea, titled "Illegal, Unreported, and Unregulated Fishing in the Atlantic." Panelists will discuss the current challenges posed by IUU fishing in the wider Atlantic and its connections to other domains. The goal is to propose innovative and tangible solutions, with a particular emphasis on the role of technology, capacity-building, and international cooperation.

This event is organized by the Atlantic Center in cooperation with the National Defence Institute and will take place in Lisbon, Portugal, on October 31, 2024, as part of the sixth seminar of the "VI Atlantic Centre Seminar," focusing on the topic of "Illegal, Unreported, and Unregulated Fishing in the Atlantic.
