Food-Energy-Water-Health Nexus: A Catalyst for Resource Security

Texas A&M University, in partnership with the Policy Center for the New South, is organizing a webinar on April 16, 2026 titled “Food-Energy-Water-Health Nexus: A Catalyst for Resource Security.” The webinar will explore how an integrated Food–Energy–Water–Health nexus approach can enhance resource security and support evidence-based policymaking. Bringing together experts and practitioners, the session will examine the value of systems thinking in addressing interconnected challenges, ranging from sustainable development and ecosystem health to innovation, policy translation, and capacity building. The discussion will also highlight practical pathways for scaling solutions and fostering cross-sectoral collaboration in complex resource environments.
