Held under the theme “Dollar Strength, Dollar Strain: Navigating a New Global Monetary Order,” the session will explore the shifting role of the U.S. dollar amid domestic fiscal pressures, questions over Federal Reserve independence, and expanding efforts by BRICS nations to increase the use of local currencies. The discussion will unpack the drivers of de-dollarization, the prospects for a more multipolar monetary landscape, and the policy choices that will shape the future of the international monetary system.
