Type: Hybrid

LocationAddis Ababa

This dialogue on digitalisation, a part of the AU-EU Relations – Balanced Narratives initiative led by the PCNS, ACET, ECDPM and ISS, will seek to help inform both formal and informal dialogue between African stakeholders and the European Union.

It seeks to connect policy makers and experts with practical insights and substantial input co-produced by a core group of African and European policy institutes. The objective of the workshop is to bring together experts from European and African countries to tackle three key questions linked to digital infrastructure and digital single market.

In that framework, the partners (ACET, ECDPM, ISS and PCNS) have produced two background notes that identify key challenges and recommendations targeted at EU and AU officials, the private sector, international development institutions and civil society actors.

This hybrid event will be co-hosted by the EU and the Rwanda missions to the African Union in Addis Ababa and online.
