Africa's Strategic Priorities for Integration, Transformation and Security
From

As part of the First Interactive Seminar of the House of Councillors' Platform for Parliamentary Diplomacy and South-South Dialogue, organized by the House of Councillors of the Kingdom of Morocco , the Policy Center for the New South (PCNS) hosts a dedicated session for a delegation of parliamentarians and senior parliamentary officials from 17 African countries.
The session provides a platform for exchanges between PCNS experts and members of the delegation on some of the most pressing issues facing the continent. Drawing on the Policy Center's multidisciplinary research, the discussions explore the opportunities and challenges shaping Africa's integration, growth, security and resilience.
The program offers a series of expert interventions addressing key strategic issues for the continent. The discussions cover Africa's growth dynamics, the implications of the low-carbon transition for industrial development, intra-African university cooperation, the opportunities and constraints associated with the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA), and the continent's evolving security landscape. The session concludes with an interactive discussion between the delegation and PCNS experts.
