The experience at ADEL 2023 made me realise how a global perspective in decision-making, design, thinking, networking, and collaboration can be achieved, especially in the Global South. It also expounded a lot on emerging technologies like AI and their impact on my career field. I would greatly recommend the ADEL program to any young person: you will be challenged, inspired, and engaged.
