I was looking for a condensed leadership development experience that could fit into a short period of time (and be feasible alongside my tight work schedule) when I found out about ADEL: a program born in the Global South. But it delivered much more than that.
ADEL challenged supposedly well-consolidated opinions and perspectives and became a turning point in my journey, exceeding my expectations in every sense. Today, I have a solid, exhilarating network I can count on whenever I need honest and constructive feedback (the hard kind to find). We come from many different backgrounds and countries, yet we met at the brave common point of our willingness to lead for a better future and a more prosperous and innovative Atlantic community.
I will never forget the Unpopular Opinions session, a space where we truly deconstructed ourselves and practiced thoughtful, blunt, open dialogue: not reactive exchanges, but conversations grounded in real listening. I’m excited to keep nurturing the ADEL family and to keep learning, building, and leading together!
