Tosin Durotoye

Tosin Durotoye is the CEO and principal consultant at Conselia Advisory Practice – a boutique management consulting firm offering management services for technology startups, private, governmental and non-profit entities. She has over 17 years of public and private sector experience in technology innovation and digitization, project and program management, and strategic partnerships and business development. She’s currently the lead consultant for Microsoft’s 4Afrika initiative across West Africa.

Most recently, Tosin served as the Chief Operating Officer at FilmoRealty where she led the establishment and launch of PropLab Africa – a proptech focused subsidiary company. Prior to this, she led the establishment of GreenHouse Lab - the first female-focused tech accelerator in Nigeria and the only “Powered by Google” accelerator in Africa. She has also served as the Director of Strategic Partnerships at Framework - a Boston-based edutech company and worked for eight years at NeighborWorks America – an NGO founded by the United States Congress. There, she managed programs for 250 network organizations and grants totaling over $10M.

Tosin is passionate about the intersections between public and private partnerships and investments and economic development. She is a committed gender equity and gender-lens investing advocate and is the founder of The Bloom Africa – a platform and community where ambitious African women gather, connect and grow.

Tosin is also a global public speaker and has presented at the Africa Venture Capital Association (London, United Kingdom), Atlantic Dialogues (Marrakech, Morocco), Observer Research Foundation (Kigali, Rwanda), Proptech Africa (Johannesburg, South Africa), Women in Africa (Marrakech, Morocco), Access Bank (Lagos, Nigeria), and Raisina Dialogue (New Delhi, India) to name a few.

Tosin is an Atlantic Dialogues Emerging Leader, Princeton Alumnicorps Emerging Leader, Women in Africa Ambassador (2018-2020), Leading Ladies Africa’s “Nigeria’s 100 Most Inspiring Women” (2019) and Most Influential People of African Descent (MIPAD) 100 Under 40 (2020).

Tosin holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Wake Forest University where she was a merit scholar and a Masters of Urban Planning (Housing, Community and Economic Development) degree from New York University’s Wagner School of Public Service where she was a Brodsky Scholar. She is also a certified Strengths Deployment coach and holds certifications in strategic planning and design thinking and innovation.
