Sofia Lalinde is an Executive in the Global Partnerships Office at CAF – Development Bank of Latin America and the Caribbean, where she focuses on forging strategic partnerships and mobilizing resources to advance sustainable development. Drawing on her Peruvian and Colombian roots and international experience, she brings a unique perspective to her work in strengthening regional cooperation. Before joining CAF, she worked at the Inter-American Dialogue, a leading think-tank in Washington, DC, and managed projects for Columbia University’s Global Freedom of Expression program. Earlier in her career, she held roles in the U.S. Treasury’s Office of Legislative Affairs and at the World Federation of United Nations Associations in Geneva. Sofia holds a bachelor’s degree in International Politics from Georgetown University.
